The new building of the Faculty

The Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics ETI (formerly named the Faculty of Electronics is the largest of the University’s Faculties, currently comprising 16 Departments with 4000 students either at M Eng or B Eng level, at two-level studies and doctoral studies.

The ETI Faculty has had the highest category in scientific research since 1992. This is at present category 1 (former A category), according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education classification system. The Faculty’s scientific activities are diverse and the main subjects of research are the same that are taught to students.

On 21 September 2006 the National Accreditation Commission gave positive opinion of the teaching quality with regards to the Control Engineering and Robotics study line taught at the M Eng level.

On 31 May 2007 the National Accreditation Commission gave positive opinion of the teaching quality with regards to the Electronics and Telecommunications study line taught at the M Eng level.

On 3 September 2009 the National Accreditation Commission gave positive opinion of the teaching quality with regards to the Informatics study line taught at the Eng and M Eng level.
