Aplikacje Rozproszone i Systemy Internetowe

Rozwój sieci komputerowych, a zarazem wzrastające wymagania efektywności i wiarygodności obliczeń doprowadziły do opracowania nowych modeli przetwarzania. Modele te implementowane są w wielu nowoczesnych platformach programowania, jako aplikacje rozproszone i zespołowe, których przykładem są złożone systemy elektronicznego handlu i biznesu, cyfrowej reklamy, czy całej wizji tzw. miasta lub państwa cyfrowego. Zapotrzebowanie na tego typu specjalistów informatyków stale wzrasta z uwagi na rozwój społeczeństwa informacyjnego, tak że szansa znalezienia interesującej pracy dla absolwentów tej specjalności nie będzie problemem nawet w odległej perspektywie czasowej.
